What is the difference between Home Ventilation Systems -HRV, DVS, SmartVent, Sayr, Unovent, Moisture master, RVS, & EVOAQ.
Low Flow Ventilation
Unovent and DVS systems are recognized for their cost-effectiveness and low-flow, but they have a downside: they shut off when the air quality is bad.
High Flow Ventilation
HRV, RVS, Moisture Master, Sayr and SmartVent systems utilize high-flow settings and only operate when the air quality is good, but this comes with the use of noisy and energy-demanding fans. When air quality is not ideal, these systems shut off to prevent affecting the indoor thermal comfort.
Mixed Flow Ventilation
EVOAQ has an edge as its systems can also operate with high airflows when the air is within the optimal temperature range of 18-25°C, thereby enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ).
